HEALTH GUARANTEE

For the purpose of this Guarantee the following terms will be used:

"Seller", "Iris Church", “my”, “breeder” or "I" will refer to Iris Church, the seller of the puppy. The terms "Buyer", "Customer", and "Original Owner" will refer to the original purchaser of the puppy. The terms "Veterinarian" or "Licensed Veterinarian" will refer to a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or veterinary clinic licensed and accredited by the state in which the practitioner or clinic is located.

I guarantee all puppies sold by me, Iris Church, to be free from communicable diseases at the time of sale only.  All puppies sold will have received their first shots as of the date of sale and will have been recently wormed.

I guarantee all puppies sold by me to remain free from life threatening congenital defects for the period of 1 year from the date of the puppies birth.  No matter how healthy the parents are and how well these puppies are raised, I do not guarantee against the following: open fontanel or molera (soft spot), alopecia (thinning hair), patella luxation (loose joints), hypoglycemia (low sugar), breeding ability, hernias, ears not standing, uneven bites, coat length or color.  I do my best to breed healthy dogs that do not have any disorder.  But like children, animals can get problems or diseases and it is the owners responsibility to deal with it and treat it as needed.  I DO NOT PAY VET BILLS FOR CLIENTS AT ALL FOR ANY REASON.  Please understand this before accepting your puppy.

All health and vaccination records for the puppy along with a puppy pack will be given to the new owner when the puppy is picked up.

The buyer will have 3 business days from the time they receive their puppy to have it examined by a veterinarian of their choice.  Buyers will be provided with a "Puppy Health Check and Veterinary Release Form" which must be completed and signed by a licensed veterinarian of the buyer's choice when the puppy has the above examination.  Failure to have this form signed by the veterinarian and returned to me, Iris Church, 10 days after the date of examination will void the Puppy Guarantee.

The following minimum conditions must be met in order for this Puppy Guarantee to remain in effect for the period stated:

1. The puppy must receive veterinary care at periodic intervals to include but not be limited to regular health check-ups, worming and the continuation of the vaccination series which has already been started.

2. The puppy is to receive suitable, daily rations of high quality food and clean water to keep it well nourished and resistant to sickness.

3. The puppy is to be housed inside a home only and be kept protected from both extreme weather conditions and other hazards such as predators.

4.  The Puppy Health Check and Veterinary Release Form must be completed and returned to me as stated above.

In the unlikely event that your puppy is discovered to have some serious, life threatening genetic defect within the guarantee period, you must contact me in writing outlining the defect immediately upon its discovery.  After a veterinarian of my choosing has examined your puppy and that practitioner confirms the serious genetic defect, I will refund your full purchase price (including deposit) within 90 days of the puppy being returned to me.

In all cases where there is going to be a refund given, the original puppy will be returned to the seller along with any shot records and papers.

I will not be responsible for any third party veterinary or laboratory bills incurred by you at any time for any reason.

Any health disputes regarding your puppy, which may occur, will be presented to my veterinarian who will make the final decisions or determinations on such issues.

All expenses incurred by the buyer on returning any puppy to me, except as expressly contained herein to the contrary, will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.

This Guarantee accrues to the benefit of the original purchaser only. It is not transferrable and will become null and void if any interest in the puppy is sold, leased, in any other way transferred to a third party or if the puppy is no longer under the direct care, custody and control of the original buyer unless permission to do so in writing has first been obtained from me.

I make no guarantees of final color or size at maturity.  Many factors determine size and I can only guesstimate when they are young.
